Shrubbly, dense, vigorous, spreading, and upright habit, it will mature into a small tree over time with a wide open canopy and aromatic, sage-scented foliage. Shoak Creek can be viewed as a large shrub or a smaller dwarf tree growing up to 12 feet tall and as wide when matured. For smaller landscapes, it can be used as a great specimen tree for a patio or deck. This vitex likes the heat, lives in USDA zones 6-9, prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil.
